Hey Good Lookin | Vanilla Coffee Scrub Review

Hey Good Lookin Vanilla Coffee Scrub

I'm a newbie when it comes to coffee scrubs. As someone who does not like the strong scent of coffee all that well, the idea of scrubbing it into my body was not appealing to me. However, when you add vanilla into that mix, a scent/flavour that I absolutely adore, it becomes a whole new ball game.

This is a vanilla scented body scrub made with 100% Organic coffee, from the brand 'Hey Good Lookin'. This exfoliating scrub helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks by stimulating the skin and helping to restore and tighten it. To do this, I like to use this in the shower by massaging the scrub in circular motions and then rinsing it off. The scrub also helps with both dry AND oily skin which I think is amazing.

The scrub contains:
 Organic Robusta Coffee
  • Himalayan Pink Blush Salt
  • Shea Butter
  • Almond Oil
  • Vanilla Oil
  • Jojoba Oil
  • Babassu Oil

This scrub smells phenomenal (wow, what a word) and I love that it lingers on my skin for such a long time! The first time I used this I could smell the scent of sweet coffee beans following me around and I was so shocked when I realised that it was still the scent of the scrub on my skin! By using this scrub around three-four times a week, I have noticed how soft my skin has been, despite it being winter! It literally feels like a babys' bottom all over! Since being introduced to this, my perception of coffee scrubs has completely changed and now I wonder whether I could NOT use one as they make me feel so pampered and rejuvenated, which is something that really helps to perk up my mood as a tired, drained third-year student!

This product is currently £13.95 and is also available in a coconut scent (see here). I do think that nearly £14 for a coffee scrub that I am using very frequently is highly expensive, but I've noticed that most coffee body scrubs are priced around this mark. An advantage of this one in particular is that it is cruelty-free and contains no parabens!
