L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

Hi everyone!

I've wanted to try the new L'Oreal Skin Expert Clay Masks for a while now as they caught my attention straight away! I decided to try the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask first of all, out of the 3 face masks in the range: Detox, Glow and Purity.

Firstly, I think the masks are very good value for money at £6 for 50ml which they say is around 10 applications, but I've noticed I only need to apply a thin layer so I think it could actually do more than 10 applications!

In terms of the actual product, it has a lovely creamy texture which glides onto the skin really easily. It also washes off very easily with warm water, which is a plus for me as I hate those face masks that are hard to remove and always leave residue on your face. The product really does what it claims to as you can visibly see all the excess oil and impurities being drawn out of your pores as the mask dries (possibly a bit of TMI there but it is weirdly satisfying!). It really cleanses deep into the pores of the skin and removes dirt and impurities, so it is great for removing blackheads and thoroughly detoxifying the skin. The mask leaves my skin looking and feeling completely refreshed and replenished, without drying it out, which I find to be rare in a face mask.

As I've mentioned before on my blog, I have extremely sensitive skin so I am cautious of what I use on my skin but I have had no problems with this mask as it is really gentle on the skin and isn't too heavily scented or harsh, so I really do recommend this for everyone, of all skin types!

Overall, I am completely in love with this face mask and I actually look forward to using it 2-3 times a week (as recommended), which is nice because with the exam season looming, it is nice to set aside some time of an evening to unwind and pamper yourself! I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin by using this product several times already and I would definitely repurchase this! Although, I really want to try the L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Mask next as that one claims to brighten and exfoliate the skin which sounds lovely too.

Let me know what you think of the L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks if you've tried any!
